Key Status/Updates:
- YP 6.1 is due for release after final review
- YP 6.0.4 is in QA.
- YP 5.0.21 is queued for QA next.
- Blacksail and master are now on separate branches and have diverged.
- Patches for 6.2 have started merging into master
- There are changes to the pypi class so that PYPI_PACKAGE is the normalised name
- There are issues where we could accept help:
- Matchbox-wm segfault/xserver restart
- aarch64/x86-64 build host contamination/reproducibility issue - thanks for the work and fixes so far on this.
- Remaining github.com references in bitbake-selftest
- Thanks to everyone who attended the Dev Day or came and saw us in Prague. This was the largest Yocto Dev Day so far!
Ways to contribute:
- We have several open issues for pseudo and limited maintainer time to work on them. - There are a large number of intermittent failures on our autobuilder, any help with investigating, reproducing or solving these issues would be welcome! https://valkyrie.yocto.io/pub/non-release/abint/
- Many recipes in openembedded-core would benefit from a new recipe maintainer. Please look at https://git.openembedded.org/openembedded-core/tree/meta/conf/distro/include/maintainers.inc and see if you can adopt any of the unassigned recipes.
